History of Anjuman-e-Asafia Pakistan

The roots of our organization trace back to Asif-abad (also known as Nadbai), a town in the Bharatpur district of Rajasthan, India. This land raised many venerable intellectuals, most notably the late Syed Ejaz Ali, the founder of Anjuman-e-Asafia Pakistan.

Legal Registration & The First Committee (1957)

In 1957, Anjuman-e-Asafia Pakistan was officially registered in Karachi under Registration Number: 707(1957).

A man of exceptional character and integrity, Syed Ejaz Ali was deeply loved by his people. Driven by immense empathy for the needy, he established Anjuman-e-Asafia Pakistan to support the natives of Nadbai. He passed away at the age of 106 and is buried in Karachi—May Allah grant him Jannah.

To provide residency for the community, the Asif-abad Cooperative Housing Society was formed. Initially, operations were run from the residence of Mr. Hamid Hussain at Lasbella 451.
